Hi! welcome to the Baby Bats group page! 

so, what and who is this group for? This group is for the young goth people who are new to the community (such as myself), and for people who want to give advice to younger/newer/new-gen goths!

This group accepts goths or people wanting to join the community; regardless of age, race, and sexual orientation and/or gender orientation! 

What is a baby bat- and what will they do here? well; "Baby bat" is the term/nickname for people who are new to the goth/post-punk scene! The goal of this group is to find other baby bats and people of the goth/punk scene, and to learn more about the music and fashion!

What makes one "goth" or "post-punk"? usually, people think of the fashion (Heavy eyeliner, dark clothing, long dresses, etc.)- but what makes one "goth" or "post-punk" is the music! Bands like Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cure, Bauhaus, The Sisters of Mercy, Type O Negative, Christian Death, London After Midnight, etc. are considered goth bands due to their unique, dark sounds! (Post-punk/goth is a music subculture!) This genre of music is considered/called Darkwave!

Should I join? Yes! of course! We will take anyone we can get!
