It’s LIT(erature)

A place to discuss, critique, and admire classic and contemporary literature. 

Webster definition:

“Literature: writings having excellence of form or expression and expressing ideas of permanent or universal interest.”

PopLit, such as Coleen Hoover/Stephen King/Tom Clancy, etc. are NOT discussed here. This isn’t to say these aren’t good-to-great authors, but there are other spaces for that kind of writing. 

Also not allowed: elitism, racism, classism, ad hominem attacks, and general shittiness will not be tolerated. Don’t judge people for their tastes. 

Most importantly: Have fun and get lit!
