What is Mashcore?

Mashcore is a subgenre of breakcore that heavily samples other songs, mostly pop and electronic, and gives them that super hyper breakcore twist! Mashcore is typically much happier and more meme-y then other breakcore genres, though exceptions do exist! (An example being Cirklon Fenneko Mike & Ike Arithmetic's album Happiness Doesn't Exist, a much more emotional and noisy mashcore album.)

Notable artists include: 

• Shitmat, who made a bunch of the early mashcore releases.

• Reizoko Cj, who heavily influenced mashcore and made it significantly more hyper than it already was.

• Renard, who helped popularize mashcore.
