psychological&eldritch horror
i thought for the longest time i didn't like horror, until i realized - i very much do love horror, just not the overly gory, jumpscare-filled kind. i'm just sensitive to disturbing visuals, and i can only handle so much of that, which is why i don't watch most horror movies. i do enjoy some visuals-based works like Vita Carnis, but i'll admit, i watched an analysis video (a great one, by Crowmudgeon) rather than the series of videos themselves, because i'm mostly there for the plot. but i have almost no limits when it comes to the written word!
i made this group for people like me, people who enjoy horror that's more unnerving than solely shocking; psychological horror, eldritch horror, folk horror, etc.
