Jesus: The Way The Truth The Life
This group is for those who know Jesus to be the Sovereign God, above Him there is no other, and for those interested in learning this truth, the Truth.
'Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." ' -John 14:6
Our goal as Christ-followers is the same as Jesus', to tell the world to "be reconciled to God" (2 Corinthians 5:20.
By Jesus giving us a ministry, this makes us (Christ-followers) all ministers whose ministry is the ministry of reconciliation. By being commissioned by a king, the King, we are ambassadors whose intended purpose is solely to represent the King's agenda. Not our own.
18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin[b] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
