Lo-fi beat culture fans

Fairly new to this social network, I've just discovered the Groups category, and I think it's a great way to find other fans of the "lo-fi beat to study with" culture, like me.

To introduce myself, I've been a composer and producer of lo-fi and ambient music for over six years now. Before that, I was just a passive listener of this genre in the background, but in 2019, I tried my hand at composing something for fun, and it was immediately super inspiring!

The lo-fi community is truly immense and colossal. It's generally associated with the aesthetic of anime/Studio Ghibli films, but other times it's perceived as simply good music to fill the silence or drown out the traffic outside while we try to concentrate on studying/working/gaming.

I hope this group can be a space for producers/curators like me to share their music and playlists, for fans of the lo-fi genre, even in the broader sense of lo-fi hip-hop (such as darkwave, chillwave, or artists like POWFU, XXXtentacion, Shiloh Dynasty, etc.).
