Russ Shining Stars
Welcome to a tribute group for Russ Shining Stars, sometimes called Russ Berrie Shining Stars. Shining Stars were plushies with an attached code that allowed a player access to an online virtual world, along with the option to name a star in one of several constellations, which was hosted by the International Star Registry. Russ Berrie went bankrupt, and the website was shut down in 2011, but the plushies can still be found in thrift stores, charity shops, and online via eBay and Mercari, to name a few examples.
