What is Sonic Highschool Asylum?

Sonic Highschool Asylum is an ongoing youtube web-series made by Rosesofblood aka Me!!!!! It's basically a parody take on teen dramas, but I use Sonic characters because why not lol

What is my inspiration? A LOT of things. My goal is to create something akin to old flash animations I watched as a child. I know a lot of them had a simple setting where characters interacted and sometimes said some edgy things lolol.

I draw inspiration from media like "Class of 09" "Sonic Goes to Chaos Highschool" "MTV Downtown" "Clone High" "One Wheat Mark" as well as "Tails Gets Trolled" and "Eddsworld".

A lot of the media mentioned has a sort of surrealist dark humor or somewhat of a happy yet gloomy vibe. This is NOT a horror series simply something a little edgy and comedic that has its "moments." Just take a bunch of morally grey characters who are in highschool, figuring themselves out, and let them interact with each other.

This whole thing really is just an homage to late 2000s self produced youtube series that often had its share of edgy humor and content, 4th wall breaks, and visual gags/surrealist/dry humor. Hopefully you guys like what I have to put out there, thank you.
