OS-tan is the anime girl personification of operating systems, such as Windows, Apple, Linux, etc. The first OS-tans appeared on the Futaba Channel as ME-Tan (Windows ME), 2k-Tan (Windows 2000), and XP-Tan (Windows XP). From then on, many different OS-tans exist today, and can all be found on the wiki.
