Skylanders
is a toys-to-life game series. Originally starting as a spinoff to
Spyro The Dragon, Skylanders has grown into its own original world. In
Skylanders, the player (called a "Portal Master") plays with the
Skylanders, a group of legendary heroes from Skylands who have been
banished to Earth by an evil Portal Master named Kaos. Due to Earth
having no magic, they shrunk and stand frozen as toys in our world,
however, when placed on a Portal of Power, the Skylanders come to life
in-game!
Skylanders are action figures with
brains, meaning that they will remember any upgrades, hats, and stats
you give them. Skylanders from previous games also work with future
games.
