The 18+ Club
Welcome the The 18+ Club, the place to be if you're over 18 years of age!
The rules are simple:
- Be 18 years old or older.
- Treat others with respect.
- Do not air your dirty laundry here.
In joining this group, you agree to abide by these rules. Failure to read the rules does not exempt you from being required to follow them.
Violators of rule #1 will be banned from the group. Violators of rules #2 and #3 will be addressed by any moderator situationally, which can include banishment. The appeals process can be found here.
What Constitutes Respectful Behavior?
Concerning rule #3: Open discussions on personal experiences are welcome, as are dialogues motivated toward understanding differing opinions. However, personal drama is not welcome here—you have a personal blog and bulletins for a reason. If you have a problem with another user, even when perfectly legitimate, the matter itself does not belong in open forum. Instead, the matter ought to be settled between the two of you privately, and escalating to a moderator should only happen when the matter concerns only people who are members of this group.
Important Notes:
This is not an Adult club in the sense of "mature content" - pornography and the like. Rather, this is a group designated for adults without having to navigate the complications that come with being inclusive to minors.
Additionally, this is not an anti-minor group. That is to say, this is not a group that promotes belittling, degrading, or otherwise being condescending toward minors. Just as you would want to be treated with respect as an adult, so too should you behave with respect toward minors.
