Online grooming and predatory behavior are systemic issues across all digital platforms, and SpaceHey is no exception. TEAP is a dedicated advocacy group of volunteers committed to safeguarding our community through education, tactical awareness, and strict accountability.
Our mission is to create a secure environment where users can identify grooming tactics, share vital safety information, and learn how to properly escalate threats to official authorities.
OUR CORE FOCUS:
- Deconstructing Tactics: Analyzing and exposing how predators manipulate and isolate targets online.
- Platform Accountability: Urging for safer moderation tools and stricter enforcement on platforms like SpaceHey and Discord.
- Official Reporting: Providing clear, actionable steps to report threats directly to platform administrators and the NCMEC CyberTipline.
STRICT OPERATIONAL RULES (MUST READ):
To protect the integrity of real investigations and the safety of our members, TEAP enforces a zero-tolerance policy for vigilante actions.
- NO Sting Operations: Members must not attempt to lure, engage, or contact predators using false pseudonyms.
- NO Direct Confrontation: Trying to gather "court-admissible" evidence independently tips off the predator. This causes them to destroy their digital footprint, ruins the legal chain of custody, and renders actual evidence useless to law enforcement.
- Prioritize Personal Safety: Engaging with malicious actors exposes you to severe risks, including entrapment, cyberstalking, and doxxing.
